MORE than 90 new coronavirus cases have been recorded in Hampshire in 24 hours.
Public Health England figures - as recorded on the Government website at 4.48pm today - show that 94 more people have tested positive for the virus in a 24 hour period.
Yesterday there were 61 new cases recorded.
Across the county, there has been a total of 91,643 positive tests since the start of the pandemic in March 2020 - around 6.66 per cent of the county's population.
Below are the confirmed cases by local authority on April 1:
- Basingstoke and Deane: 9 (8,129 in total since start of pandemic)
- East Hampshire: 5 (4,829)
- Eastleigh: 10 (5,769)
- Fareham: 2 (5,207)
- Gosport: 2 (3,829)
- Hart: 5 (4,286)
- Havant: 5 (7,001)
- New Forest: 7 (6,108)
- Portsmouth: 8 (14,181)
- Rushmoor: 1 (7,692)
- Southampton: 29 (14,428)
- Test Valley: 7 (5,290)
- Winchester: 4 (4,894)
