AN MP has welcomed news that new mental health hubs will be opening in Hampshire.
Gosport MP, Caroline Dinenage has said she is pleased that sites to support new, expectant or bereaved mothers will be opening in Hampshire.
Ten initial sites are expected to open in the coming months across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, Devon, Birmingham and Solihull.
Another 16 sites are expected to be up and running by next April and will offer a wide range of care from before conception until 24 months after birth.
MP, Caroline Dinenage said: "Every mother has a unique journey before, during and after childbirth. Sadly, many mothers can feel isolated and alone during this experience.
“It is vital that we support mothers through every step to protect both their, and their child’s, wellbeing.”
