A TEENAGE boy has been arrested for possessing a weapon after an argument broke out outside a Hampshire home.
On Thursday evening, a 16-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of being in possession of a bladed article in a public place.
This came after police were called to reports of a mass gathering of young people in Calmore.
An argument was said to have broken out between a group of young people at around 7.30pm outside a property on Oldbarn Close.
The boy was arrested after the incident but has now been released under investigation.
A police spokesperson said: "Carrying knives can be linked to serious and organised criminal activity. Help us #StopKnifeCrime and report any concerns to us on 101 with details, or independent charity, Crimestoppers, anonymously on 0800 555 111."
