A DRIVER was caught by police in Winchester when banned from driving.
Lewis David Woods, 37, of Regents Park Road, Millbrook, Southampton, was stopped by officers when driving a 56-reg VW Golf on St Cross Road in Winchester on February 7.
Woods pleaded guilty to the charge when he appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates Court and was banned from driving for 22 months.
He also admitted driving with no insurance.
Magistrates imposed a community order for Woods to do 100 hours unpaid work over the next 12 months as well as a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement for up to 15 days including eight 'Better Solutions' sessions.
Woods must also pay a £95 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
