Appearing before Southampton Magistrates' Court, he pleaded guilty to messaging the woman between December last year and January 2021.
He has been given a two-year community order which includes an alcohol abstinence requirement of 120 days and participating in an accredited programme for 31 days. He was fined £50. Goodwin must pay £85 costs and a £95 victim surcharge.
