A SOUTHAMPTON man targeted city stores during a shoplifting spree, magistrates were told.
Andrew John Tribbeck has pleaded guilty to 21 counts of theft.
The 34-year-old raided supermarkets and convenience stores between September 2020 and April this year.
He stole detergent, chocolate, sweets and coffee.
Appearing before Southampton Magistrates’ Court, Tribbeck of Edelvale Road, also pleaded guilty to assault by beating.
He further admitted intending to cause harassment, alarm or distress by using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour.
He has been remanded on bail and his case has been adjourned for a pre-sentence report to be prepared.
