A HOTEL chain has announced plans to hire hundreds of new staff - with positions available in Hampshire.
Warner Leisure Hotels bosses say they want to bring in the new staff in time for May 17 - when the hotels will be allowed to reopen as further lockdown measures are eased.
They are looking for 13 roles to be filled, including chefs, restaurant and bar teams, housekeepers, and maintenance workers, on full and part-time contracts, at two hotels in Hampshire - Sinah Warren Caostal Hotel, and Lakeside Coastal Village. Both are based in Hayling Island.
Warner, part of the award-winning Bourne Leisure group, employs more than 2,500 team members and is named in The Times Best Big Companies to Work For list.
Head of Operations and People, Ian Gyte said: “We’re so excited to be able to re-open our hotels and are looking for a wealth of talent to join the team.
“Warner is a key employer throughout the UK and we’re extremely proud to be able to offer jobs to thousands of people up and down the country during what’s been a particularly difficult time for job seekers.
“This year is set to be a really big year for UK holidays with thousands of holidaymakers looking to escape to the great British coast and countryside for a well-deserved break.”
Team members will receive training, free uniform and PPE.
