A KEY Southampton road remains closed today.
Woodmill Lane has been closed after a car veered off the road and ploughed into the old mill building.
The carriageway is blocked off in both directions at its junction with Wessex Lane and near the Riverside Park car park.
The road which serves as a vital route into the city has been closed since yesterday afternoon.
A Nissan Micra ploughed into the site which houses the Woodmill Outdoor Activities Centre and SUP Company.
A manhunt was later launched after three "young men" were spotted running from the scene of the crash.
According to police, a found a 14-year-old boy who they believe was in the car has since been found.
And, that he is helping them with their enquiries.
Engineers have now boarded up the premises and put up barriers.
No vehicles can pass, however, there is a temporary path for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists.
Motorists are being warned of delays on Cobden Bridge and St Denys Road.
The Daily Echo is awaiting further updates from Hampshire police and has contacted Hampshire County Council to ask when Woodmill Lane will reopen.
