A HAMPSHIRE school rated "Good" by Ofsted has drawn up proposals to build an eco learning centre.
Our Lady and St Joseph Catholic Primary School in Ramley Road, Pennington, has submitted a planning application to New Forest District Council.
Consent is sought for a single-storey prefabricated building.
A design and access statement which forms part of the application says the timber-framed building will blend in with the surrounding natural environment.
Described as smaller than the average primary school, Our Lady and St Joseph can cater for up to 115 pupils. It was based in the town centre before moving to Pennington several years ago.
The proposed eco learning room is described in a Public Notice published by the council, which will decide whether the scheme should be given the go-ahead.
Residents have until June 18 to submit comments on the application, which is likely to be determined by mid-August at the latest.
Here is a round up of other Public Notices giving details of licensing applications, temporary road closures and other changes in the area.
