PLANNING chiefs have rejected an application to replace a bungalow with a two-storey property.
The New Forest National Park Authority (NPA) has refused a proposal relating to Splinters, one of the homes at Winsor Road, Winsor.
Copythorne Parish Council had objected to the application.
Members cited the potential impact on a neighbouring property, saying the height of the proposed new dwelling and garage would result in loss of light and privacy.
The proposal also sparked three letters of objection from locals.
A report to NPA members said the proposed development would have a harmful impact on the living conditions of the occupants of a neighbouring home.
