AMONG the cases heard at Southampton Magistrates were:
WASIM YOUNIS, 33, of Blackberry Terrace, Southampton. Indicated a plea of guilty to theft and possessing a lock knife in a public place. Committed to prison for 16 weeks. Ordered to pay £128 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.
DOMINIC MARK CARTER, 37, of Nottingham Place, Lee-on-Solent. Pleaded guilty to ABH and criminal damage. Remanded in custody. Adjourned for a pre-sentence report to be prepared.
VIRGILIJUS JANULEVICIUS, 59, of St Mary Street, Southampton. Found guilty of assault by beating. Remanded on bail. Adjourned for a pre-sentence report to be prepared.
ANDREW MARK JOANNIDES, 25, of Bracken Close, Bookham, Leatherhead, Surrey. Pleaded guilty to criminal damage and harassment. Community order made for 12 months to include 100 hours of unpaid work. Restraining order made for five years. Ordered to pay £50 compensation, £95 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.
JORDAINE KING, 27, of Ramsden Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to drink driving. Disqualified for 17 months and fined £250. Ordered to pay £34 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.
JAMES CHAMBERS, 23, of Wellstead Way, Hedge End. Pleaded guilty to drug driving. Fined £79 and disqualified for 12 months. Ordered to pay £34 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.
THOMAS NATHAN AMOS, 34, of Shelley Road, Totton. Pleaded guilty to theft and assault. Committed to prison for eight weeks, suspended for 18 months. Must complete 40 rehabilitation activity days. Ordered to pay £50 compensation.
DALTON DAVID CALLUM WILLS, 23, of Chettle Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to assault. Community order made for two years and must participate in an accredited programme for 33 days, 120 hours of unpaid work and 20 rehabilitation activity days. Order to pay £95 victim surcharge and £100 court costs.
RACHEL JANE O’SHEA, 35, of Canute Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified. Community order made until December next year. Must complete 15 rehabilitation activity days. Fined £120 and banned for 32 months. Ordered to pay £95 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.
DANIEL PERRYER, 46, of Marion Grove, Woodford Green, Essex. Pleaded guilty to drink driving. Banned for 12 months and fined £369. Ordered to pay £37 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.
FELIX HARPER, 22, of Pledgedon Green, Bishop’s Stortford, Essex. Pleaded guilty to two counts of assault. Remanded on unconditional bail. Adjourned for a pre-sentence report to be prepared.
JUSTIN PETER HARRIS, 44, of Rose Road, Southampton. Found guilty of exposure and using threatening behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress. Remanded on unconditional bail. Adjourned for a pre-sentence report to be prepared.
