A SEARCH has been launched to find a man who allegedly threatened someone with a knife outside a food store.
On Sunday between 9.22pm and 9.30pm, a man is said to have left the Co-Op on Long Lane, Holbury without paying for his items.
Upon leaving the store, a member of the public challenged him.
But then police claim the man pulled out a knife and threatened the member of the public before running off.
Now officers are searching for the man and have released CCTV images of him at the Co-Op store.
The man is described as, white, aged between 25 and 35, around 5ft 7 inches tall, of slim build and with dark hair.
He was wearing a blue baseball cap, large dark jacket, jogging bottoms / jeans and white trainers at the time of the incident.
A Hampshire Police spokesperson, said: "Do you recognise him? Officers are also keen to identify the member of public who challenged the man. This person may be able to help with our investigation. Was this you?
