MORE than 2,100 cases of the Delta variant have been recorded across Hampshire. 

Data released on the Government website has shown that, as of Juy 2, there were 2,198 cases of the Delta variant recorded across the county. 

This is up from 1,604 cases last week.

A total of 444 cases were recorded in Southampton - up 115.
