A GIANT crop circle has appeared in a Hampshire - and residents would like to think it’s down to aliens.
Photographer Matt Adamiak snapped a shot of the mysterious shape in a field in Upham, close to Peak Lane.
The crop circle is believed to have appeared on Sunday, July 18, in a private farmer’s field.
The only access to view the work is via drone, claims Matt, who has expressed his concern over potential damage to the pattern.
Speaking to the Daily Echo, Matt said: “Sadly, once this is common knowledge it will be ruined no doubt by people wanting to get inside it.
“I have no idea how this appeared, I like to think aliens but its more than likely men with planks of wood.
“Apparently is has a Covid-19 meaning but I am not 100 per cent sure on the true meaning as yet.”
In the 1980s and early 1990s there was fierce controversy over the cause of the circles with some arguing they were made by extra terrestrials, others that they were made by the weather and others, the majority view, that they are man-made.
