SUPPLIES have been restored to two parts of the New Forest that were left without water earlier today.
Taps ran dry in the Queensway area of New Milton and the All Saints Road area of Lymington after two burst water mains.
Bournemouth Water says supplies have now been restored.
In a message to residents in both the affected areas it says: "We would like to thank our customers for their patience while we completed emergency repair work.
"We are pleased to confirm that supplies in the area are now restored.
"We do not anticipate that our customers will experience discoloured water but if you do notice discolouration, please run your cold kitchen tap until clear.
"The brown or yellow appearance is caused by the disturbance of natural sediment within the main and can take up to an hour to clear."
The New Milton burst left some customers with no water while others reported "very low" water pressure.
Many of those affected live near the Queensway Industrial Estate.
Posting on social media one person said: "Water pouring down Queensway. Water pressure low on Chatsworth Estate."
