Motorcyclist seriously injured after crash at Town Quay
A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash in Town Quay last night.
The rider was taken to hospital following the collision with a car around 7.20pm on Sunday.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Police said: "The rider of the motorcycle, a man in his 20s, suffered serious injuries to his pelvis and legs and was taken to hospital.
"They are not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing.
"Enquiries as to the exact circumstances of the collision are ongoing."
People rushed from Kuti's restaurant and the Dancing Man brewery to help at the scene and direct traffic until the emergency services took over, an eyewitness said.
