A DRUG driver who failed to report a crash has been banned from the roads for a year.
Thomas Chalk smashed his Ford Fiesta into Skoda on Millbrook Road West.
The 19-year-old also had traces of the cocaine by-product - benzoylecgonine - in his system.
Appearing before Southampton Magistrates' Court, he was charged with drug driving, failing to stop at the scene of an accident and failing to report it. He pleaded guilty to the offences which happened on November 23, 2019.
Chalk, of Crete Cottages, Dibden Purlieu, was given a community order until the end of September.
He is subject to an eight-week curfew between 9pm and 6am each day and must pay £180.
