A WINCHESTER man has been remanded in custody for allegedly starting a fire at a city petrol station.
James Lloyd, 23, of Christchurch Road, is accused of arson with intent to endanger life at Tesco petrol station, Andover Road, on August 1.
The case was sent to Winchester Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on September 1 and Lloyd was remanded in custody when he appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates Court.
