A MAN has been arrested for drug offences after a vehicle, that was being chased by police, crashed into an unmarked car.
Yesterday at around 2pm, a vehicle failed to stop for police on Cambridge Green, Chandler's Ford according to officers.
Speeding away, the vehicle was then driven in the direction of police officers, before crashing into an unmarked police car and another vehicle.
The occupant of the vehicle then escaped from the crashed vehicle.
They were later detained by police nearby.
The incident took place just after 2pm and a quantity of Class A drugs was later located in the vehicle and seized.
Now a 25-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, failure to stop, criminal damage and possession with intent to supply a Class A drug.
He remains in custody at this time.
