A HAMPSHIRE man has been charged following a shoplifting investigation.
Police investigating a series of shoplifting incidents in the Totton and Hythe areas have arrested and charged a man.
Liberty George Cooper, aged 49, of Water Lane, Totton has been charged with two counts of theft from a shop.
It comes following thefts from retail shops between June 25 and July 14.
Cooper was remanded in custody and will next appear at Southampton Magistrates Court on Friday 3 September.
