A SUMMER music festival has been moved back a year after being postponed due to Covid-19.
Park Proms at Broadlands Estate in Romsey would have been less than 10 days away now under original plans.
The festival was due to start on August 27 with names such as Pixie Lott, Scouting for Girls and Eliza and the Bear set to perform.
But following issues due to the pandemic, the event has now been postponed to next year with a new date confirmed of August Bank Holiday 2022.
Postponing the event, organisers said: "This is an incredibly difficult day for us all at Park Proms and it really hurts to have to write this message to you all but, owing to the continued uncertainty around Covid-19, the refusal of the Government to release the results of the Event Research Programme or offer a much needed event insurance policy, we have had to take the heart-breaking decision to postpone Park Proms until 2022.
"The last 18 months have been very tough for us all and the music, events, hospitality & arts industries have had to endure cancellations, postponements and huge uncertainty."

The entire lineup has remained from this years event, and purchased tickets have automatically rolled over and are valid for 2022.
On August 26, 2022 audiences will get to see the world famous 78 piece Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, Aled Jones, Laura Wright, Escala and The Travelling Hands who performed on the streets of Romsey earlier this year.
Then on August 27, 2022 Brit Award winning James Morrison will be on show along with, Pixie Lott, Scouting for Girls and Eliza and The Bear.
The organisers added: "All tickets have automatically rolled over and are valid for the 2022 date, we would like to thank you for your patience and understanding whilst we worked behind the scenes to confirm the new date.
"We have been overwhelmed by the kind words and support from not just our ticket holders but our locally based suppliers, who along with us, cannot wait to put on the show that everybody has been waiting for."
