A HUNT has been launched for a man after almost £1,000 of goods were stolen from a Hampshire supermarket.
Police want to speak to a man in connection with a spate of shoplifting at the Marks and Spencer store on St Thomas Street, Lymington.
The retailer has reported that products worth nearly £1,000 - including champagne and gin - have been stolen between Sunday, June 13 and Thursday, August 12.
Police have now released a CCTV still of a man they want to speak to.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary, said: "We would like to speak with the man pictured, as we believe he could have valuable information which could our investigation. Do you know recognise him? Perhaps you have seen him in the store previously? Or perhaps you saw what happened?
"We are aware that this follows another series of shoplifting incidents in the area recently and we are working closely with store management to identify those responsible, with a view to bringing them to justice."
