A YEAR'S supply of burgers is being offered to Hampshire residents who pledge to cut out meat and swap to plant-based alternatives.
To celebrate National Burger Day on August 26, international plant-based food brand The Fry Family Food Co. is on the hunt for Hampshire's biggest 'grill seekers'.
These meat lovers have the potential to win the 'BBQ kit of a lifetime' as long as they pledge to take on the challenge of not flipping a single meat burger for the rest of the summer.
One succesful meat-lover who pledges to swap out their favourite meat dishes, will then take home a barbecue kit with all the essentials – as well as one year’s supply of plant-based patties.
The competition can be entered via the Fry Family Food Co. website and entry closes on August 31 at midnight.
Tammy Fry, International Marketing Director at The Fry Family Food Co, said: “It is fantastic to see so many people embracing plant-based foods, whether it’s for one meal a week, or all year round.
"Every little change really does help when it comes to reducing carbon emissions and changing the world for the better.
“We love seeing the surprise and delight on people’s faces when they try the Big Fry Burger for the first time, so we want to take that to the nation’s biggest meat fans and challenge them to give it a go this National Burger Day – we’re sure they will be pleasantly surprised.
“We look forward to welcoming ‘Grill Seekers’ from all over Hampshire to make the pledge and try out tasty plant-based alternatives this summer.”
