A MAN has been charged with causing danger to road users following an incident on the M27 motorway.
Dean Williams, 28, of no fixed address, is due to appear at Portsmouth Magistrates' Court later today.
Police were called to reports of concern for the welfare of a man on the Botley Road bridge, which crosses the M27, at 3.30pm last Friday.

- M27 closed in both directions due to police incident
A police spokesperson said: "The motorway was closed between junctions 8 and 9 while emergency services dealt with the incident.
"The man came down from the bridge safely at around 7.30pm and the road was reopened."
The closure caused miles of tailbacks on Friday night, not just on the M27 but on surrounding roads.
