A MAN has been charged by police investigating several offences in Southampton and the New Forest.
It comes after a number of bicycles were reported stolen in the Lyndhurst and Brockenhurst areas between April 24 and July 24.
Police say the other offence involved a malicious communication that was sent to someone in the Southampton area on August 16.
Connor Steven Hampton, 22, of Winchester Road, Southampton, has been charged with one count of theft from a motor vehicle, one count of theft of a pedal cycle and one count of malicious communications.
A police spokesman said: "Hampton appeared before Southampton Magistrates' Court on August 27 where he pleaded guilty to all three offences.
"He was bailed with conditions and will next appear at court on September 24."
