THE Red Arrows are set to fly over Hampshire this afternoon as they make their way towards the Bournemouth Air Festival.

The famous RAF display team will make a flypast over various Hampshire spots at 3.30pm this afternoon (September 1).

Spectators can catch a glimpse of the display team as they pass near Basingstoke, Andover and Winchester at around 3.30pm before they make their way over to Dorset.

The Military Airshows UK website shows the jets will enter Hampshire over Highclere and pass over Whitchurch and on towards Sutton Scotney at 3.31pm.

From there, the pilots will make their way to Awbridge, in between Winchester and Romsey, and then leave the county near Sherfield English.

Thousands are expected to flock to Bournemouth for the four day event running from Thursday,  September 2, to Sunday, September 5.

Displays are not limited to the Red Arrows, visitors can also spot air crafts such as RAF Typhoon, Belgian Air Force's 'Razzle Blade', The Fireflies and also The British Army Tigers Freefall Parachute Display team.
