A TEENAGER has been convicted of having an illegal knife at a Winchester hotel.
Adrian Liptrot, 19, of Stane Street, Ockley, Surrey, was found with a large kitchen knife at the Wessex Hotel on Paternoster Row on March 3.
On February 8 he was found with a quantity of ketamine, a court heard. He admitted both charges.
Magistrates in Basingstoke imposed a community order with a rehabilitation activity requirement for up to 20 days and 60 hours unpaid work in the next 12 months. The knife will be forfeited and destroyed by court order.
