POLICE investigating complaints about a car blocking a pavement discovered its MoT had expired more than two years ago.
Officers issued a £100 fine after finding the vehicle half on the road and half on the footway in Fordingbridge.
Posting on social media Ringwood Cops said: "After complaints from local residents about pavement obstructions by parked vehicles, this car was found completely blocking the path and with an MoT which expired March 2019 - £100 fine issued.
"Please think about the access and safety of the disabled, elderly and those with young children when parking.
"Your convenience can seriously impact on the daily wellbeing of those who need our support the most. Imagine how hard this has made the journey for someone with a visual impairment.
