Official figures show Covid cases have dropped in Southampton in the past seven days.
Data for the week to August 28 shows a decerease in the number of cases in the city.
Southampton City Council's data dashboard says there were 788 confirmed cases - a decrease of 104 compared to the previous seven days.
In that week, there were 892 cases.
The average cases per day - in the past seven days to August 28 - were 112.
Southampton's rate of infection is above the England average as of August 28.
It is 312.1 while the south east rate is 280.5 and the England average is 309.4.
The rate had dropped in the past week.
According to the government's Covid map, there are 11 hotspots in the area in the area up to August 31.
The areas of Southampton labelled as hotspots
- Totton Calmore - 26 cases. An increase of seven cases in the past week.
- Redbridge and Millbrook West - 33 cases. An increase of eight cases in the past week.
- Regents Park and Millbrook East - 31 cases. An increase of six cases in the past week.
- Maybush - 42 cases. An increase of 12 in the past week.
- Coxford and Lords Hill - 25 cases. An increase of seven cases in the past week.
- Chilworth, Nursling and Rownhams - 36 cases. An increase of 18 in the past week.
- Aldermoor and Lordswood - 32 cases. An increase of 11 in the past week.
- Thornhill - 33 cases. But four fewer than the week before.
- Sholing east - 33 cases. An increase of 13 in the past week.
- Hedge End North and Botley North - 55 cases. An increase of 15 in the past week.
- Fair Oak - 64 cases. An increase of 35 in the past week.
The map shows positive cases by 'Middle Super Output Area' - the name the government gives to the break-up of larger towns and groups of neighbouring towns and villages, with groupings covering a greater area than others.
Clusters are only shown when there are three or more new cases reported at any one time.
Anywhere with between zero and two cases shows white in order to "protect the privacy of individuals and prevent disclosure", the accompanying information states.
