THE emergency services were called to a Hampshire junction following an accident involving a van and a car towing a horse trailer.
At least one person is said to have suffered minor injuries in the collision, which occurred at Norleywood Crossroads on the B3054 Lymington to Beaulieu road.
Several people took to social media in the wake of the accident, which occurred at around noon today.
One woman posted: "Husband has just rung me to say there's been a huge accident involving a 4x4 with a horsebox. Fire department, police and others all in attendance.
"Try and avoid that area and go through East End instead. So so sad, I hope everyone involved isn't to seriously injured."
Other posts said no animals were involved in the incident.
A police spokesman said officers were called to reports of a collision involving a van and a car towing a horse trailer.
He added: “Minor injuries were reported and we have since left the scene.”
