A MAN was dragged off his bike by four boys on a Southampton high street.
Four teenage boys attacked a man riding his bike in Shirley High Street.
However, when a passerby intervened they fled the scene.
Police are now urging for the victim to come forward following the incident at around 6pm on Tuesday.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: "Shortly after 6pm on Tuesday, September 14, we received a report of a suspicious incident on Shirley High Street.
"A member of the public flagged down officers patrolling the area and reported seeing four teenage boys assault and pull a man off his pushbike.
"Another member of the public intervened and the four boys ran off. Unfortunately, the victim has not made contact with us to make a report and we would really like him to get in touch."
