IT IS nearly that time of year.
Prepare for social media feeds to be filled with people picking pumpkins as the farm fields begin to turn orange.
Whether you are looking for the perfect Halloween decoration or a tasty treat, there are plenty of places in Hampshire.
We have comprised a list so you can plan ahead:
1. Pickwell Farm
Pickwell, off Grange Road in Bursledon, is iconic at this time of year.
Hundreds of locals are expected to flock here to get their perfect pumpkin, available next month.
The farm's website says: "No need to book – just be aware of other people and avoid crowded areas. Sorry, no dogs allowed in the fields.
"Please wear sensible shoes as we are a working farm, if it has been raining before your visit, even a day or two, be prepared for mud."
2. Sunnyfields
Over in Hounsdown is Sunnyfields, which is also a very popular destination.
The fields will be open from Sunday October 2. Those interested must book in advance via the website.
"Pumpkin Time is about viewing and taking pictures with the wonderful variety of pumpkins on display and creating happy memories with loved ones down on the farm," says the Sunnyfields website.
"There will be thousands of pumpkins, squash and other cucurbits to pop into your wheelbarrow and purchase. You can then take them home to carve, paint, or decorate your home into an autumnal space."
3. Hollam Nurseries
This centre in Fareham does not just offer pick-you-own pumpkins, but also strawberries and sunflowers all year round.
It can be found at 348 Titchfield Road.

4. Fordingbridge Pumpkin Pastures
This site will be open every Sunday in October from the 10th.
It will offer professional photography and is also wheelchair accessible.
The website says: "Professional photography by Andrea at A.K.W Photography who will be us every Saturday and Sunday, 10am to 2pm.
"We are excited to show our wheelchair accessible cart for our barrel train, we hope this will help our little wheel users feel more included."
5. Steve Harris Farm
This family run farm in Triangle Lane, Titchfield, is yet to confirm a date but will be reopening its pick-your-own pumpkin patch this October.
"Starting in May, the Black Shed Stall opens for the first of our ready picked strawberries, and the season continues right up until the end of October when the last of the pumpkins are picked," says its website.
