Here is a selection of animals from the Blue Cross rehoming centre in Southampton that are looking for a forever home.
The centre was opened in 1988 and helps treat and find happy homes for animals of all shapes and sizes.
If you think you would be able to rehome one of them go to their website for details.
You can also donate to the organisation, or sponsor a pet, to help it carry on its rescue work at the same website.
Muffin and Freddie
Gender – Female and Male
Age – Nine years old
Breed – Cocker Spaniel
Colour – Brown and white
Muffin and Freddie are looking for a quiet home together.
They are both fairly nervous dogs, so they would be looking to be walked on a lead in areas where other off lead dogs won’t come running over to them.
Additionally, it would be good for them if the owner had their own piece of land for the dogs to run around it regularly.

Milo
Gender – Male
Age – 10 months old
Breed – Domestic Shorthair
Colour – Black and white
Milo is looking for a peaceful home as he can get a bit overwhelmed with noisy activity.
He loves a bit of a fuss and to play, but would just appreciate new owners to go slow with him until he gets to know you a little better.

Coco
Gender – Male
Age – Three years, seven months old
Breed – Domestic Shorthair
Colour – Black
Coco came into the centre as a stray, and is slowly learning to enjoy a bit of a fuss, especially with head rubs and tickles under the chin.
He would like to find a peaceful home where he can take time to find his feet. He might not immediately bond with a new owner, but it will happen over time.

Fudge and Twitch
Gender – Female
Age – Three years, five months old
Breed – Rabbit
Colour – Brown and grey
Fudge and Twitch are sister rabbits who have grown to be more confident in their time at the centre.
They are fairly big (3kg+) so will need spacious accommodation, and could live indoors as long as they have plenty of access to a garden.
Additionally, they could live with sensible older children, and a cat as long as it wouldn’t bother them.
