Here we round up some of the cases heard in Southampton:
Man threatened his ex-partner's new lover
Lee Anthony Wookey attacked his victim in the street.
The 44-year-old said he was going "to do" him and ran his finger against his throat.
He was jailed for a total of 18-months
Southampton man locked up for drug dealing offences
Owen Catton pleading guilty to supplying crack cocaine and heroin.
He was arrested following a police raid at an address in Bridge Road.
He was jailed for three years.
Southampton man raped and sexually abused a young girl
Phomnarin Harawan, 20, promised his young victim money not to report his abuse.
He told police he got no sexual gratification from his offences.
Harawan was jailed for eight years.
Paedophile sexually abused a teenage girl
Michael Slater made his victim feel disgusted at herself.
In a victim personal statement read out in court, she said: “I hope one day I get over the disgust I have in myself.
He was jailed for a total of five years.
Paedophile caught with thousands of indecent photos of children
Jason George Street had 7,363 still and moving images of youngsters.
Officers investigating his internet history found he had searched for terms including seven-year-old children.
He was jailed for 30 months.
Southampton man jailed for attempting to break into a Brazilian waxing studio
Damon Dixon tried to break into Sugarflick in Bedford Place twice.
However, he was caught on CCTV.
After pleading guilty to attempted burglary, he was jailed for 12-months
Southampton man jailed for drugs offences
Shiraz Ahmadzai admitted supplying cocaine, crack cocaine and heroin.
He was arrested following a raid at a property Northam Road.
Earlier this month he was sent down for three years and six months.
