IT'S the Grade III listed former coaching inn which has been transformed into a country pub for the modern day.
Refurbished during the third national lockdown, The White Horse at Otterbourne boasts an outdoor bar and pizza oven, a popular children's play area, heated drinking and dining huts and a covered and heated pagoda.
The large rear garden is popular with families and also has a rear dining terrace, which tends to be used as an extension of the restaurant during the summer months.

In front of the pub, there is more space for drinking and dining with three heated huts and three large tables under a covered and heated pagoda favoured mainly by adult only parties.
There's a hidden cellar containing some of the best high end varieties of new world wines, as well as an orange French wine and some amazing reds from Croatia.
Gins and a new range of cocktails, including black cows, espresso martinis and French 75s, are also popular at the pub, which is owned by The Ideal Collection of Hampshire venues.
The modern British menu has some Asian influences as head chef Sam was really inspired by the food from his travels. A good selection of locally sourced sustainable meat and fish are at the heart of the menu alongside an ever changing market plate selection and an increasing numberof plant based options. The White Horse is open daily for brunch and offers a wide selection of coffee and cakes throughout the day.
Contactless ordering on an app is among the Covid changes made at The White Horse.
General manager of eight years Jess Rogers said: "There have been too many memorable moments to mention! We've had some great events including our summer fetes, music festivals and Christmas activities. I have also made some great friends over the years.
"The best thing about running a pub is the people, the regulars and the atmosphere. We're known for being friendly and welcoming whilst serving great food and drink."
