CITY LEADERS are to meet with a Hampshire police boss following appalling criminal damage in Southampton.
Four cars were flipped over in the Millbrook estate last night by gangs of teens.
Police also received reports of criminal damage to vehicles and shops being vandalised.
An investigation has now been launched with officers carrying out enquiries.
Jeremy Moulton, the deputy leader of the Tory-run city council has taken to social media to voice his concerns.
He said: Absolutely appalling scenes last night on the Millbrook Estate. Dan Fitzhenry and I are urgently meeting with Police and Crime Commissioner, Donna Jones, to discuss actions being taken and how we can improve safety in the city.
Meanwhile, the PCC said: "This kind of criminal behaviour will not be tolerated. Urgent meeting with Hampshire Police being arranged. We will stand up for innocent people & being to justice criminal."
