AN AREA of Southampton has not had its glass recycling collected again after services were suspended. 

Southampton City Council has said on Twitter that it has had to suspend glass recycling collections in the Sholing area today. 

Now a map has been released of the roads affected and residents are being advised to bring their glass box back in and if possible, in a 'visable spot'.

This comes as the council has claimed tat some glass recycling catch up collections took place on Saturday. 

A council spokesperson said: "Any missed collections from last week which have still not been picked up will now be picked up next week.

"Thank you for your patience at this time, again we apologise for any inconvenience caused."
