IT'S cold, it's dark and the sunny evenings have officially disappeared for the year.
But that means the festivities are on their way – with fireworks and Bonfire Night paving the way.
Guy Fawkes Night is on November 5, as it is every year, and there are some fantastic events lined up in Southampton.
We've listed them all for you:
Southampton Bonfire Night
As always, the city centre will illuminate on November 5, with this event starting at 6pm.
Head towards Vincent Place and you'll begin to the signs and the crowds.
Unearth delicious hot chow and refreshments from local vendors in the course of the evening.
Visit local inns and nightclubs at the close of the extravaganza to progress with the bonfire night entertainment.
Amongst the fete there is live concert music transmitted in particular areas along with fairground rides, despite the fact that this will hinge on the function planners in this precise location.
Sholing Bonfire Night
Feast your eyes on a magnificent professional exhibition of fireworks spotlighting the twilight sky.
Dig into Savory hot meals and beverages from local businesses for the rest of the evening.
Hit the local diners and watering holes subsequent to the performance to continue the bonfire night revelries.
This event runs between 6pm and 11pm.
Bitterne Bonfire Night
You can expect much the same in Bitterne on Guy Fawkes Night, with the event kicking off at 6pm.
Sweet treats, hot drinks, games and more will be on-site.
Hedge End Bonfire Night
Tickets MUST be booked before attending this event at Southern Parishes Conservative Club.
It is open to both members and non-members, and there will be a fireworks display, BBQ, mulled cider, and hot chocolate.

Ageas Bowl Fireworks Display
This is one event that won't get rained off!
The Ageas Bowl's spectacular annual fireworks party returns on Friday, November 5, for the first time since November 2019.
The ever-popular event hosted at the home of Hampshire Cricket will once again showcase a captivating 20-minute fireworks display accompanied by a music soundtrack.
Gates will open at 6pm with a wide range of food and drink stalls available ahead of the fireworks show commencing at 7.30pm.
