IT'S the historic New Forest pub where four legged friends are given just as warm a welcome as their owners.
The White Hart, a traditional 200 year old inn which sits on the border of Lymington and Pennington, is so dog friendly that any hound visiting on a Sunday will join the rest of the family for a free bowl of turkey.
Pub dog Hannah the husky welcomes all guests and the White Hart has even hosted an extremely well attended canine first aid course.

Visiting pups are also offered water bowls and treats.
But it's not just man's best friend who is well looked after here, it's very much a people pub too with live music, tapletop games, poker and quiz nights every week.
"We're very much at the heart of the community," say Mike Clark and Laura Pollard, who have been at the pub for the past five years.
"We all get along and it's all about working together. We have a great mixture of people here, just about everybody you could imagine really. You never know who is going to walk through the door.
"If you need something done for you, we've got everyone from painters to pilots in here! The pub is like the original social media."
Mike and Laura did manage to put on their regular beer festival in their large garden this summer and their other regular events have made a welcome return. An open mic night will take place this Sunday, followed by Monday's quiz and the popular Lymington Tabletop Games night on Wednesday featuring board games like Sheriff of Nottingham and Rhino Hero. Poker takes place on Thursdays.
The pub, part of the Stonegate Group, serves up locally sourced pub classics like fish and chips, steak and cajun chicken.
Blue Moon and Fuggle-Dee-Dum real ales are among the most popular drinks.
The White Hart, close to the marina, has featured on TV twice with slots on Channel 5's Britain By Boat when Michael Burke and John Sergeant took part in the quiz and the dog first aid course featured on BBC's Inside Out.
