A VICTIM has been thrown from the bonnet of his vehicle as it was stolen from a town forecourt.
On Thursday, police were called to the Texaco Petrol Station on Highlands Road, Fareham to reports of a car being stolen.
It is said that at around 7.25pm, the Blue BMW Estate was stolen from the station forecourt.
The victim then spotted the car being driven away and tried to stop it.
But they were then thrown from the bonnet onto the road.
Now police in the area are keen to speak to any witnesses, as well as a taxi driver in a white people carrier.
A police spokesperson said: "If you see this car, call 999 and tell us where you have seen it. Please, do not touch or approach this car if spotted.
"If you have any information not requiring immediate police assistance, please call 101 quoting reference 44210453695."
