A MAN has been arrested following a foot-chase through a Southampton neighbourhood.
Early yesterday morning, police from the Shirley Neighbourhood Team responded to a call of a domestic related incident on Irving Road.
Upon arrival, one man who was thought to have been involved had left the scene.
But after an "extensive search" of the area, officers recognised the man stood in the court yard.
A chase was then started with officers saying the man was "jumping fences and running through resident's gardens".
After fleeing to Cardinal Place, the man was caught by police who also used a dog in the chase.
A 24-year-old man has now been arrested for domestic related offences.
The man was also wanted on warrant.
