A SOUTHAMPTON man tore through a 40mph zone at almost twice the legal speed limit.
Jagit Singh was clocked driving a BMW 740 at 74mph along the A41 near Bicester in Oxfordshire.
Singh, 49, of Kanes Hill, pleaded guilty to the offence committed on September 6 last year.
Wycombe Magistrates' Court fined him £440 and stamped his driving licence with six points.
He must also pay £85 in court costs and a £44 victim surcharge.
