Sometimes though, the effort required to cook the meal and tackle the clean up afterwards, is just too much.
With this in mind, we've compiled a list of the top 5 pubs in Hampshire that serve up a cracking roast dinner. Results are based on the reviews visitors have left on the travel website, Tripadvisor.

"One waitress, believe her name was Regina, was very attentive and actually gave eye contact when speaking to us. This is something that is rare to find nowadays, an asset and a pure credit to your team at this location. We couldn't praise her enough, please note that your other staff members were approachable too but Regina just stood out amongst them."
