UP FOR a bit of cold weather away from our... cold weather?
Well, now you can, as Southampton Airport has announced a new route to the French Alps - and remember to pack your skis!
The British Airways service to the city of Chambéry launches on Saturday.
The firm says this new destination will combine "a colourful cultural scene with easy access to some of Europe’s most famous mountain resorts".
Tickets are now on sale for the route via the British Airways website.
The route is in addition to the brand new Salzburg route which took off at Southampton Airport on January 22.
The service operates once a week.
Matt Hazelwood, chief commercial officer at AGS Airports, which owns Southampton Airport, said: “Our passengers are able to enjoy some fantastic skiing trips from Southampton Airport with these routes.
“We were delighted to announce the new British Airways services to Salzburg and Chambery last year which compliment our Geneva service well.
“Our passengers warmly welcomed these services, and we look forward to welcoming them back to our terminal.”
