A SOUTHAMPTON home has lost its roof as Storm Eunice batters Southampton.
A home on Pound Street in Bitterne has lost its roof causing considerable damage. The chimney has also been destroyed
The city has been thrashed with winds of up to 60mph.
Residents said they heard a "strange noise" but were shocked when they saw the roof of the home had been blown off.
The Met Office has today upgraded the amber weather warning to red as high-speed winds hit the south.
They have warned that high winds could cause significant disruption and dangerous conditions.
