A CYCLIST aged 92 has suffered life-threatening injuries after being involved in a crash Totton.
Police were in Ringwood Road at the junction with Graddidge Way after the 3pm crash today.
The road is shut and the injured pensioner has been taken to Southampton General Hospital.
Officers have put up a cordon and told passers-by it is a 'crime scene'.
They are hunting for the vehicle involved in the crash.
Police sergeant Spencer Wragg said: “We are appealing for witnesses to this collision, and would specifically like to speak to anyone who stopped at the scene as we believe they have important information that can assist our enquiries.
“We are also making enquiries to track down the vehicle involved and would ask the driver to get in touch with us as well.
“If you have dashcam, CCTV or ring doorbell footage of the collision we would also be grateful to hear from you.”

One man, who did not want to be named, told the Echo: "An accident has taken place on Ringwood Road near Graddidge Way junction in West Totton.
"Police on scene tell me it is a ‘crime scene’. Cyclist hit by car. Police investigating."
