A GROUP of volunteers collecting aid for Ukraine have been told they can store goods at St Mary's Leisure Centre.
Members of the Polish Social Club desperately needed space as they have been flooded with donations.
Now Southampton City Council has given the group permission to use the closed St Mary's Leisure Centre.

Leader Councillor Dan Fitzhenry said: "As part of our ongoing support of the humanitarian aid response to the Ukrainian conflict, I am delighted we have been able to allow the Polish Social Club the use of St Mary's Leisure Centre from today as a short-term solution to provide a larger space for the fantastic work they are doing collecting and distributing donations for Ukrainian refugees.
"We are also working with other stakeholders across the city on a longer-term solution and there will be further updates on this coming shortly."
