A MAN has been arrested by police investigating a rape in a Southampton park.
As reported, police were investigating a reported rape against an 18-year-old woman in Riverside Park on March 8.
The incident happened at around 11.30pm and officers cordoned off a large chunk of the greenspace into the following afternoon.

A 25-year-old Southampton man has been arrested on suspicion of rape and remains in police custody.
The woman continues to be supported by specialist officers.
Police will also be carrying out reassurance patrols in the area over the next few days.
