SOUTHAMPTON is one of the top three UK cities for graffiti, figures have shown.
Swyft Home has scraped over 14 years of data logged in FixMyStreet to uncover the UK’s graffiti hotspots.
Southampton was revealed as the city with the third most graffiti, making the city one of the UK's graffiti capitals.
With 384 graffiti complaints, the city takes third place under Bath and Bristol.
Bath has had more concerns raised about this type of vandalism than anywhere else in the UK with 586 complaints. Bristol follows in second place with 420 complaints.
With only one complaint logged in Newry, Stirling and Belfast, these cities are clearly on top of their vandalism control.
Cambridge dictionary defines graffiti as ‘words or drawings, especially humorous, rude, or political, on walls, doors, in public places’.
