Police find body near River Hamble in search for missing 26-year-old
A BODY has been found by police near the River Hamble in the search for a missing man.
Officers search for 26-year-old John Bishop from Fareham confirmed on Saturday night that a body had been found close to the River Hamble at Bursledon.

Formal identification procedures have not yet taken place, but John’s next of kin have been informed.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
